Malachi Dads

Lifeline Global Ministries’ Malachi Dads SOCPM curriculum consist of four books that help fathers develop community and learn to live up to their biblical responsibility as a father.

Psalm 1 The Blessed Man

Written by inmates in Louisiana State Penitentiary Angola's Malachi Dads program who have been transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. The study defines characteristics of a godly man found in the six verses of Psalm 1 and testimonies of Angola Malachi Dad graduates.

The Heart of a Father

Teaches incarcerated fathers practical biblical advice for living a Christian life in their marriage, and parenting. Topics include Bible studies on sin, salvation, sanctification, church, and what is biblical marriage and fathering and a heart to pursue them and more. It includes written short answers, memory verses, and engaging class discussions. The course also includes “Inmate Challenge” a 40-minute video presented by three inmates at Louisiana State Penitentiary aka ‘Angola’ with messages of encouragement and a challenge t live out their lives as the men God created them to be.

The Heart of a Man

Teaches incarcerated fathers how they can have a heart that pleases God, regardless of their past sins. Help fathers in prison understand what it means to be men after God’s own heart. Topics include examining their hearts and what it takes to develop hearts of trustworthiness, moral purity, faith, hope, love, pray and more. Includes written short answers, memory verses and engaging class discussion.

Family Restoration

Based on the book of Jeremiah it deals on the topics of captivity, learning healthy communication, authority, family shepherding, dealing with family dysfunction and more working towards the promise of restoration. Includes written short answers, memory verses and engaging class discussion.


Inside Out Dad Christian

Based on National Fatherhood Initiative’s "Inside Out Dad Christian" teaches the student not only what children want in a dad but more importantly what God expects of fathers.  Topics include dealing with one’s past, waht is a man, spirituality, expressing emotions, relationships, discipline and more including tips on fathering while being incarcerated. Each week's teaching offers articles from leading family ministries Dr. James Dobson's Family Talk, Focus on the Family, Family Life Today and Desiring God related to that week's core topic.
